Meet the Team
Hello . . .
In the rush of life, it can be easy to hide your struggles - even from those closest to you. Sometimes the hardest part isn't knowing that something feels off - it's understanding why.
Maybe you've spent years feeling misunderstood, wondering why your mind works differently than everyone else's, or carrying around messages about who you "should" be. Therapy offers a chance to slow down, make sense of those experiences, and begin seeing yourself with greater understanding, curiosity, and compassion.
Michelle enjoys supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, health concerns, caregiving, aging, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the many moments that leave us questioning ourselves. She feels especially energized helping people who have spent much of their lives trying to fit into someone else's expectations and are ready to better understand who they truly are.
Clients often describe Michelle as thoughtful, relatable, compassionate, and easy to talk to. She believes meaningful change begins with a genuine therapeutic relationship, where clients feel safe, supported, and accepted exactly as they are. Her approach is flexible and individualized, helping clients better understand themselves, build self-compassion, and move toward a life that feels more authentic.
Before becoming a therapist, Michelle spent years supporting individuals and families navigating complex healthcare and life challenges as a social worker. Those experiences deepened her belief in meeting people where they are with compassion and hope, and inspired her to build the deeper therapeutic relationships she values today.
Outside of the office, Michelle enjoys spending time with friends, cooking, baking, and reading - something she recently rediscovered after starting a book club. She's always dreaming about another trip to Italy or Spain, and if you ask what's in her mug during session, the answer will almost always be coffee.
